Reservations at The Cow


The sustainability of The Cow’s business depends on your honoured reservations. We expect our patrons to be respectful and responsible in their commitment to our establishment, and follow our reservation and cancellation policy outlined.


Reservations made with us are firmly for the enjoyment of dining in our upstairs Dining Room or downstairs Saloon Bar, and credit card details will be required to secure your booking. Regrettably, we will not be accepting table reservations for drinking-only guests.

Credit card details will not be used to proceed with a payment, other than in the event of your party not honouring the reservation wholly and the cancellation of less than 48 hours in advance of your reservation time. On these occasions, we will apply a £30 per person cancellation fee. 

All cancellations and amendments must be confirmed by email to: or by selecting the ‘cancel reservation’ or ‘modify’ options in your original confirmation email no later than 48 hours prior to your reservation time. Cancellations exceeding the 48-hour notice period will not be reinstated for a future date.


While we are sympathetic to our patrons experiencing unforeseen circumstances, your responsibilities agreed upon your reservation for the cancellation fee remains.

Please be mindful that your reservation is subject to a time restriction:


1 to 2 people are for 1 hour 45 minutes.

3 to 4 people are for 2 hours.

5 to 6 people are for 2 hours 15 minutes.

7 to 8 people are for 2 hours 30 minutes.


We accept a maximum group booking for 8 people and do not split groups across multiple tables. If you wish to bring a larger group, we recommend considering our private dining.


Reservations for the Saloon Bar are only taken for lunch Monday to Friday, from 12 noon to 3:30pm.

Please understand your call may not be answered during service and you may need to leave a message. A member of staff will respond to you at their earliest convenience.


Please note dogs are not permitted in our upstairs Dining Room. Our front space of the Saloon Bar downstairs will happily accommodate well–behaved, small-sized dogs on leads until 6pm.
